It's a......

Well Hayden is going to have a little brother!!!! I was a little disappointed at first but I'm excited that Hayden will have a brother to play and get into trouble with. We aren't certain on any names yet but we are leaning towards Joshua Ryan. He was pretty active on the ultrasound. I'm going to need some serious energy to keep up with these two. I'll post some pictures when we get back from the beach.

Update

Just wanted to let everyone know we are still alive. The pregnancy is moving right along. I've started to feel the baby some which is so exciting. We go in for our big ultrasound on the 17th. I'm hoping for a girl and Chris wants another boy. I have no feelings on what this one will be. I had a strong feeling Hayden was a boy. We are headed to the beach after the ultrasound for a week of fun with my family. This is assuming the hurricane stays away from Gulf Shores. My brother-in-law may not get to be with us if the hurricane hits the U.S. so we are hoping it will hit Mexico.

In other news, Hayden began Mother's Day Out last Friday. He is in my mom's class so I got to hear everything he did. She couldn't stop bragging on him so I was very proud of him. I enjoyed my alone time and was able to get a lot done. I'll be looking forward to every Friday from now on. I'll get some pictures up here at some point. We are amazed every day by all the words and phrases Hayden is saying. We don't always understand him but it's fun trying to quess what he said. I taught him to say Roll Tide which comes out as Dole Tide but I love hearing it. Chris usually rolls his eyes when he says it.

I'll try to let everyone know about the doctor's appointment while we are at the beach.

Father's Day

For Father's Day, Gran and Grandpa Fry came over and we all went down to Calera, AL to the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum to ride the train. Mimi and Grandpa Godfrey along with Aunt Amanda and McKinlee met us there. Since dad's rode the train for half price, it seemed like the perfect Father's Day gift.

Daddy's Birthday

For his birthday, Chris wanted to take the whole family to the Birmingham Zoo. We were planning on going to the zoo for Memorial Day, but Hayden got sick and ended up with a trip to see his doctor. Here are a couple of pictures from the day.

Hayden seemed to really enjoy the train, or did he?

Hayden's Going to be a Big Brother

We are proud to present the newest addition to the Fry family:

We went to the doctor this morning and everything looks good. The baby is almost 7 weeks along and is due February 18th. We've been telling Hayden that he's going to be a big brother and we pray for his brother or sister in his night time prayers but he pretty much doesn't have a clue.

In other news we decided to take the house off the market for a while. There were several factors involved but in the end we felt this wasn't the right time to move. We did get an offer on the house last week but it was so low that we couldn't accept it.

Everything else is going well for us. We're just taking it easy this summer especially since I have some morning sickness and feel tired half the time. We've been swimming some at a friends house and Hayden has really enjoyed the water. He won't let go of me but he still has a good time splashing. Hayden is really growing fast. He talks all the time in some other language that sounds like German half the time. Chris taught him to stand in his play chairs and turn the lights on and off so he goes from one light switch to another all day. Also he spends most of the day carrying around either my hair dryer, hair straightener, or curling iron. I'm not sure what the obsession is with them but he loves them.

(this was taken in January so he's been obsessed for a while)

We'll try to keep everyone updated about the pregnancy. We should find out the sex towards the end of September.

Update

Sorry we haven't posted in a long time. It has been a very busy time for us. We have decided to sell our house. I didn't realize how much work would be involved in getting a house ready to show. We have found two houses we really like so we will see about buying one of them if we can sell our house. Also I decided to sub at a mother's day out where my mom and sister work. I've only worked a few days but have really enjoyed it. It's been nice to get out of the house and interact with other people. Hayden hasn't liked being in a class away from me. I think it's been hard on both of us but I know he needs to learn to interact with other kids.
Our biggest news right now is Hayden's upcoming surgery on Friday. I'd rather not go into details on here but he has a male problem that needs to be corrected. It's an outpatient surgery but he will have to be put to sleep. I'm having a really hard time with this so your prayers would be appreciated. I will try to post an update this weekend to let everyone know how it went.
I hope everyone is doing well and we hope to hear from you all.

Family update

We'll I've been a slacker on updating this blog. It has been one crazy busy fall. As most of you know I'm now a Thirty-One consultant so that has kept me real busy. I'm really enjoying it although it can be stressful at times. You can visit my website by clicking on the link to the left. Hayden is growing so fast. I can't believe he will be one in a couple of weeks. We are planning a little party for the family and he's going to have an Elmo party for his play date next week. We now have 6 teeth which have been a pain when they come in. Also he is now taking several steps on his own. This has been really exciting for us. We like getting him to walk back and forth between us. He is into everything more than ever and I know it's going to get worse. He doesn't get the word no yet or at least he acts like he doesn't. He likes carrying the remotes around the house and has managed to get them in the toilet more than once. Hayden is now eating big dinners with us. It's been fun letting him try what we are eating and he's been doing pretty well with it. Here are some pictures from the last few months:

Playing his drums. He likes to tear down the curtains to see outside.

Walking his favorite toy. Yummy, cheese ravioli

Play-time with daddy.
